Understand our savings plan for the area you are gathering customers.
TEXAS
Customers will enjoy a savings as high as 30%
Texas has 2 different kinds of plans. A Variable Plan and a Fixed Plan
Variable Plan: The rate that is shown for the Variable Plan is an introductory rate, which means the rate shown will be for the first month, every month after that it will change and go up and down.
Fixed Plan: We have a 6 month, a 1 year and a 2 year plan. The rate shown will be “fixed” for that period of time at that rate. When the term is about to expire the customer will be notified that the rate plan is about to end and at that time they can lock in again at the rates available, or if they take no action they will continue to use our service, they will just be on a Variable month to month plan instead.

service at a new location/moving
if it is a brand new service (They do NOT currently have electricity in THEY’RE name at the address)

If they currently have electricity with another company in THEY’RE NAME and want to save money by switching to us.
(The amount shown is the standard rate for the average household using 1,000 KwH. If you select the fixed plan, for any month you use less then 500 KwH you will be charged $9.99 for that month only and the rate will be a little bit higher. If you use more then 2,000 KwH the rate you selected will be lower. There is no monthly service charge for the fixed plan, there is a $4.99 monthly fee for the Variable Plan. ILLINOIS
We have a written Guaranteed Savings plan that states we will save customers AT LEAST a 1% savings every month on the Energy Usage portion of the bill. That means you can save more then 1% but never less then 1%. Understand if we promised, in writing, a guaranteed savings of 10% and one month we only saved 9%, then we broke our promise and that can lead to all kinds of problems. The 1% guarantee allows us to fluctuate our savings each month to best suit us and the customers.
Nicor will still deliver the gas to the home. If they have a gas leak they will need to call Nicor. Nicor still reads the meter. Nicor still prints the bills. In other words the service will be the same, the only difference is the “Energy Usage” will be less.
NEW YORK
We have a written Guaranteed Savings plan that states we will save customers 7% for the first 2 months, and will continue to save money by giving them AT LEAST a 1% savings each month after that. That means you can save more then 1%, but never less then 1%. Understand if we promised, in writing, a guaranteed savings of 10% and one month we only saved 9%, then we broke our promise and that can lead to all kinds of problems. The 1% guarantee allows us to fluctuate our savings each month to best suit us and the customers.
Con Ed, National Grid, or NYSEG will continue to deliver the electricity and/or gas to the home, read the meters, and print the bills just like before. The only difference will be the savings on the energy portion of the bill.
